Purpose
This group can be a valuable benefit to its members when everyone actively contributes to its growth through quality referrals and by developing relationships with their "power partners" — business professionals whose services naturally complement their own and who can become consistent sources of referrals both to and from one another. The purpose of this Business Leads Group is to build professional relationships, support one another’s businesses, and generate qualified referrals through consistent participation and engagement.
Membership Expectations
As a member of this group, I agree to the following:
1. Attendance
I will make every effort to attend the group’s regularly scheduled meetings, held every other tuesday from 7:30 AM to 8:30 AM. Consistent attendance is essential to maintaining strong relationships and maximizing opportunities for all members.
2. Referral Commitment
I will strive to provide a minimum of four (4) qualified business leads per month for fellow group members. A qualified lead should be a legitimate referral or business opportunity that may reasonably benefit another member’s business.
3. Quality of Referrals
I agree to provide legitimate, warm, and qualified referral opportunities to fellow members whenever possible. A referral should involve a genuine connection or introduction and not simply the passing along of a name or contact information without context.
To increase the likelihood of a successful connection, it is highly recommended that the referring member initiate a group text, email, or similar introduction that includes themselves, the referral, and the member receiving the referral. This helps establish trust, improves response rates, and demonstrates the value of the referral.
4. Timely Follow-Up on Leads
I agree to contact referrals and leads provided by fellow members in a timely manner. Consistently failing to follow up on leads demonstrates a lack of commitment to the group and may result in fewer referrals being provided in the future and possible vote for removal.
5. Business Category Representation and Non-Poaching
I agree not to solicit, divert, or otherwise poach leads intended for another member of the group.
Each member is permitted to represent only one business category within the group. While some members may own or participate in multiple businesses or ventures, members agree to represent only their primary business and business category during group activities and referrals.
Members further agree not to engage in undisclosed arrangements, referral agreements, or "side deals" with other members that circumvent the purpose or fairness of the group. If evidence of such conduct is brought to the attention of the membership, the matter shall be presented for discussion and an immediate vote regarding the member’s continued participation at the next scheduled meeting.
6. Support of Group Members
I agree to make every reasonable effort to refer business opportunities to members within the group before recommending businesses outside the group. Exceptions may be made when the needed business category or service is not represented by an active member.
7. Membership Review and Removal
Members are expected to maintain consistent attendance and actively contribute leads to the group.
Any proposal to remove a member due to excessive absences, failure to consistently provide leads, violation of this agreement, or conduct detrimental to the group may be brought before the membership at any scheduled meeting. Removal of a member shall require a majority vote of the members present.
8. Fees and Expenses
There are no membership fees, dues, or assessments required to participate in the group. Members are only responsible for paying for their own breakfast or personal expenses incurred during meetings.
9. Initial Leadership
Dominic Vigil, founder of the group, will serve as the initial Group Leader and will be responsible for organizing and facilitating meetings during the group’s formation and first year of operation.
10. Leadership Rotation
To encourage shared ownership and fresh perspectives, group leadership will rotate on an annual basis. A new Group Leader will be selected each year through a majority vote of the membership.
By signing below I confirm the information in this application is accurate and I agree to the terms above as a member of Parker Leads Group.
